So, after a very successful supporters' meeting last Saturday, the old supporters' club has been revived. There seems to be a genuine buzz about the place and everyone is positive for the future.
Before formally welcoming the new committee, I would firstly like to say a huge thanks to Melody and Tim Stephens, who have done huge amounts for the supporters' club in the past (but now find themselves on the Club Committee)... without them we wouldn't have gotten anywhere in the first place. As well as them, I need to also thank the late 'Sempie' and his partner, Lynda. Again, without them, we wouldn't have been a 'thing' to begin with. You guys are amazing...
So THANKS!
The revived supporters' club is already bouncing with ideas and new members, if you are interested in joining then there is a membership fee of £10 for adults, £5 for pensioners and FREE to under 18's! Please speak to any of the supporters committee members for more information.
During last Saturday's meeting, the following roles were democratically decided:
Chairman: Andy Glinka (Glinks)
Vice Chairman: Kevin Burke (Burkey)
Secretary: Peter McGrath (Muggsy)
Treasurer: Mike Capp (Cappy)
Whilst they form the supporters club committee, the club itself is run as a democracy and any important decisions will be decided by its members and a majority vote rule.
We hope to raise awareness and funds for the club as well as helping raise its profile. Hopefully you can be part of it too!

Our aim is to support, promote and raise funds for Trafford Football Club. The Supporters' Club goals include: raising funds for Trafford FC; raising awareness of the Football Club in the local community; providing a ‘mouthpiece’ for the supporters; providing a ‘line of communication’ between the supporters' and the Football Club and our current project: building a new stand behind the goal at the Pennybridge Lane end. Be part of Trafford FC, be part of the supporters' club.
