Fans' Five Favourites #4 - The Beards

Our two favourite beards - Blackbeard and Redbeard are fairly new on the scene but my word, what an impact they've made as supporters; home and away, they provide amazing support and keep us all entertained with their Trafford Tales vlog on YouTube - have a look at their wonderful stuff HERE.

Blackbeard

Current player: Rob 'Bob Wobball' Worrall

All-time player: Max Hazeldine - he was the first player whose name I learnt, and he's a bloody good player. Gutted when he left!

Away day trip: Clitheroe, December 2023!

Off the pitch moment: The end of season 22/23 party in the clubhouse. We finished mid-table but partied like we'd won the league.

Trafford goal: Jack Sloan's winner against 1874 Northwich in Feb 2023.

Redbeard

Current player: Mike Burke

All-time player: Max Hazeldine as well and just as gutted when he left

Away day trip: Mossley 22/23. Epic comeback that spurred us on to a 6 game winning streak and Clitheroe away 23/24 for especially singing Clitheroe off the park, walking away with 3 points and just a sick bants filled day!

Off the pitch moment: The 22/23 end of season party - got hammered, partied hard and nearly broke the roof off the clubhouse!

Trafford goal: Matty Lusakueno v Nantwich 23/24 for the sheer excitement over a player: both goals were brilliant! Also, Max Hazeldine's v Macclesfield. Our biggest away support at a game I've attended and we absolutely ballistic when he scored just after missing a pen.
