Fans' Five Favourites #3

This weeks 'Fans' Five Favourites' are the two Andys: Sleepy Lee and Glinks. Sleepy's been standing with his back to Trafford games, annoying anyone who will listen to him for a while now whilst Glinks spends half his time looking after him when Brooko is absent. Here are their favourite five:

Away day trip

This is so difficult, there's been a few: Kings Lynn and Lancaster in the FA Cup are up there and even Chasetown last week, but Clitheroe away this season just tops them. It had everything: fans pulling together to organise our own 50-seater coach, a top, top pub before the game, fans were absolutely immense during the game and all capped off with the win. The celebrations afterwards were brilliant! Just a great day!

Off the pitch moment

Again, there have been a few, but I'll have to pick Pickering away in the cup. Matt Brown was driving me and Sleepy to the game, so obviously on the way me and Sleepy were supping some beers and having a right giggle. Matt started getting a bit of drink envy and just before we arrived in Pickering, suggested the idea he had a few at the game, leave the car and stay over in Pickering for the night. Three phone calls to our wives later and we were on (my phone call was easy enough - I just blamed it on Matt and said I had to stay as he was my ride home). However, finding somewhere to stay proved tricky since we had just come out of lockdown one and places were still adjusting, but we eventually found somewhere. Anyway, we had a right laugh spreading the Trafford joy.

On route to Pickering...

and some 12 hours or so later.

Trafford goal

You can't beat a last minute winner and I'm not sure there are any better than the one Jack Dorney scored at home against either Glossop or Ossett Albion - I can't quite remember. Either way, there was beer and hugs all over the place. Class.
