Trafford FC All-time XI

What a disappointing end to the 2019/20 season, eh?! Bloody Coronavirus!
Not only are we all missing the football, but we've also missed the opportunity to see our beloved Trafford in another cup final. 

However, we must remain positive and keep the faith; once this is all over, we can get back to supporting the mighty Trafford FC...

... and there is something else to celebrate - the 2020/21 season see's 30 years of Trafford Football Club. 30 years of blood, sweat, tears, tantrums and success! Despite these frustrating times, we can start to celebrate the achievements of our club in new, social distancing ways until we can properly commemorate 30 wonderful years of ups and downs. 

As a supporters club, we have decided one way to celebrate is to produce an 'All-time Trafford FC XI' as voted by YOU - the supporters! A select group including Dave Law and Dave Brown (Co-founders of the club), Graham Foxall (Club Secretary), Dave Murray (Programme and Website Designer) and a handful of supporters club members have agonisingly drawn up nominations. 

There will be 3 nominated players for each position (based on a 4-4-2 formation) and a brief description of each player will be provided with their stats. The nominations for each position will be released every 48 hours and during that time, the voting for that position will be open.

This is a great way to acknowledge our heroes and to begin our 30th year anniversary of Trafford Football Club. Apologies if you didn't make the cut - you can take comfort in knowing that it was so hard narrowing it down to the 33 nominations - it just shows how blessed we've been in terms of quality players at Shawe View! There will be a link directing you to the page on here once the voting is open and we hope you have fun selecting and thinking about your own all-time Trafford XI.
