Foxy the Fox...

This time last week Trafford FC hosted Nantwich and put on a great team performance in winning 4 -0. Shelton Payne was later voted man of the match for his hat-trick but perhaps the role of club mascot, Foxy the Fox shouldn't go unnoticed.
For during this game, the Mascot outfit was expertly worn by yours truly, supporters club chairman, Andy Glinka. Clearly this brought the team good luck and obviously contributed massively to the win. Non more so than when walking around the pitch (unable to see any of the game through my steamed up glasses), I stopped and stood next to John Eadie (club chairman) just as Trafford were awarded a free kick. He told me 'we'  had been playing well but needed a goal. I told him not to worry as I'll make Shelts score from the free kick... the rest is history!

Unfortunately, I have had to retire as club mascot due to bad drinking habits, but fear not, Foxy the Fox lives on and you can even have a go at today's TFC raffle to have a chance to take a penalty against him/her/it during half-time (Dave Hornby).
