Man of the Match v Droyelsden

Phewwww! That's how I feel after those 90 minutes!
Without being disrespectful to Droyelsden, many Trafford fans turned up today expecting an easy game. It was anything but! A combination of Droylseden's spoiling tactics (more fouls than passes), Traffords reluctance to move the ball quickly and the referee's insistence on making wrong decision after wrong decision meant we were in for a long 95 minutes!

Anyway, 3 points is points and we are now on the up in terms of our league position.
1-0 might not of been the winning margin we were hoping for/expecting but considering we went down to 10 men and had a penalty saved, I'll take 1-0 all day!

Enough of my ramblings and to the 'Karl Vaughan Sponsored Trafford FCSC's Man of the Match', even though he missed a penalty, "he controlled the midfield, although Martyn and Rory ran him close" were Karl's words. Yes, Tom Schofield (my personal favourite player) was todays MOTM.

So well done Tom and well done to Trafford and see you in 2 days for Ally Browns return as Witton visit Shawe View... ANOTHER big game! (aren't they all?)
